Accomodation for Guests
If the marriage ceremony you are planning is elaborate and likely to be held over a span of a few days, you will need to make arrangements in terms of both accommodation and transportation for your out-of-town guests.With just little attention, you can make perfect arrangements and all within the limits of your budget .Your guests will remember you warmly and thank you not only for an enjoyable time at the wedding, but also for a pleasant and comfortable stay.
Most weddings have guests coming from out of town & hence you need to make arrangements for their stay. Depending on your budget, you can seek accommodations in hotels/guest houses. Besides, stay, you will need to arrange for at least some of their meals - usually bed tea & breakfast are a common requirement.
- As most hotels are overbooked during the wedding season, you will need to let us know the numbers much in advance.
- Request the groom’s parents for a list of people likely to require accommodation.
- Go through your guest list and have an estimate ready as early as possible.
- Arrange suitable accommodation for your guests for a comfortable & pleasant stay, near the wedding venue. A near by Hotel or a guesthouse which also suits to your budget can be the best choice.
- Prefer hotels/Guest houses, which provides 24 hours, check in and out.
- Apart from hotels, there are iGuest Houses available in Ludhiana that offer almost all the facilities as that offered by any good hotel.
- Treat your guests from out of town with little more special care. After all they wanted to be with you and bless you for the best of your life.
- See to that their break in the morning fast and the night meal are available at the place you select for their stay.
- If using vacant houses/ rooms of friends and relatives, ensure services of a cook and washer man.
- Hire extra furniture, crockery, mattresses, bed linen, fans/coolers etc. & ensure water and electricity supply.
- Keep a list of various accommodations and their occupants.
- Apart from your guests, you will need first night accommodation after your wedding and before your honeymoon.
- If you are not spending the first night in your house, make sure you have booked a honeymoon suite; some hotels offer a Suite Free to those who have held their reception at their Hotel as complimentary to the newly wedded.
